IPSWICH TRAIN
The walk from the Auchenflower station to the Uniting Church Centre takes about 10 minutes. Exit the station on to Auchenflower Terrace side, turn left (look for the sign saying “Theological College”),bear left and walk down the hill, past the croquet lawn, then across Dixon Street. You can then cross the small park (there is a concrete path) or use the footpath up Park Lane; this will lead you into Park Avenue, then left into Bayliss Street. The Uniting Church Centre is 60 Bayliss Ave, Auchenflower. |
 Dep City at 9.15 am from Stop 9 in Ann Street near King George Square. Arr. at 9.23 am at Stop 11 on Milton Road (near corner of Park Avenue), Auchenflower.The walk to the Uniting Church Centre is quite short - about 5 minutes. From the bus stop, turn left into Park Avenue, then right into Cadell Street. Enter through the gates to Raymont Lodge, 47 Cadell St, Auchenflower. Raymont Lodge and the Uniting Church Centre share the whole block which runs from Cadell Street through to Bayliss Avenue. After you enter the grounds, follow the signs which will direct you through to the Uniting Church Centre and the Chapel. |
IF DRIVING: Access via Milton Road is off either Croydon Street or Park Avenue. Access via Coronation Drive is off Sylvan Road/Croydon St or Dixon Street/ Park Lane/Park Avenue. *Check your street directory because some roads off Coronation Drive are one-way.
PARKING: Parking is available in the grounds via the gates at 47 Cadell Street; or street parking is available in Cadell Street, Bayliss Street, Park Avenue and Park Lane.
CHAPEL: On the ground floor of the Uniting Church Centre is accessible from either Bayliss Street or Cadell Street. On reaching the main building from either side of the property, watch for the UNITY signs.
